The State Government of São Paulo will take a delegation composed of 12 companies to participate in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France. The event, recognized as the largest in the sector, will take place between May 14 and May 25. This business mission is part of CreativeSP, a program of the State’s Secretary of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries, and InvestSP, an investment promotion agency linked to the Secretary of Economic Development.
The goal of the initiative is to promote the exchange of knowledge, foster new businesses, attract foreign investments, and boost job and income generation in the audiovisual sector. The companies selected for the mission are: Claraluz Filmes, Paranoid, Capuri, O Par Produções, More Than Filmes, Conspiração Filmes, Sam Ka Pur Filmes, Sincrônica Áudio e Comunicação, Poétika, and Manjericão Filmes.
In addition, two companies will receive special support from CreativeSP for having films shown at the festival.
During the festival, all companies will have the opportunity to participate in the Marché du Film, a market where producers, distributors, investors, and festival representatives from around the world meet to close deals. The event brings together approximately 14,000 professionals from 140 countries and presents about 4,000 films and projects.
